Mona was born on November 5, 1926 in Inwood, NY to Pat and Rose Casey. The fourth of five children, she was raised in Miami, FL and graduated in 1945 from Gesu High School.  Mona worked for Burdines Department Stores for more than 35 years.

She is survived by her brother, Jack Casey of Bell, FL; sister, Patricia (Casey) Riehm of Pensacola, FL and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Joe, and sisters, Nancy (Casey) Barksdale and Maureen (Casey) Fisher.

Mona will be remembered as a devoted daughter, caring sister, doting aunt, and true friend. She was a compassionate pet owner, avid learner, world traveler, Belleek lover, and giver of the best (but usually late) Christmas gifts.

Visitation will begin at 1pm on Friday, May 20, 2016 at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, 1212 East Moreno Street, Pensacola, FL. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated immediately following.
