Morgan Pete Kilpatrick, 67, of Holt and Pensacola passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2011. Pete was a native of Pensacola and moved to Holt in 1995. Pete served in the Air Force for 4 years, before settling down in Pensacola with his wife of 44 years, Linda. He worked at Westinghouse for 30 years before its closing. He then went on the road as a truck driver for the remaining of his career. Pete was an avid outdoorsman spending every available minute either hunting or fishing. Pa Pa loved his 6 grandkids and treasured every minute he got to spend with them. Pete was a loving husband and wonderful Dad of 4. We miss you Dad and will see you again one day. Preceding him in death were his father, Morgan Kilpatrick, Sr.; his mother, Nina Kilpatrick and a sister, Dorothy Wood. He is survived by his wife, Linda Kilpatrick; sons, Ricky (Betsy) Kilpatrick and Tommy (Kara) Kilpatrick; daughters, Shelly (David) Shepherd and Cathy (Steve) Joye; grandkids, Whitney, Brittney, Kailey, Chase, Bryce and Morgan. Visitation will be held at 10:30am Monday, May 9, 2011 with services beginning at 11:30am from Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Rev. Walter Long officiating. Burial will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery with military honors. The family wishes to give special thanks to the Staff at Baptist Manor.
