IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Moriah
Kirksey
September 24, 1973 – October 9, 2025
Moriah Kirksey, 52, of Pensacola, FL, passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2025.
Moriah was a native of Pensacola and a cherished member of the Bonifay family. She is survived by her loving husband, Tommy Lewis; her mother, Harriette Bonifay Allen and stepfather, Michael; her brother, Beau Wildman, with daughter, Brighton and wife, Jesssica; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Moriah was a keeper of stories and an avid writer. She had a deep love for the quiet wonders of the world. Turtles slowly making their way through the grass, wildflowers blooming in forgotten corners, and gentle rhythms of nature that others might overlook. She found joy and meaning in observing these small miracles and bringing them to life through her writings. She was a gifted storyteller; Moriah could turn even the simplest moment into a rich, heartfelt tale leaving behind a legacy of words that reflected a soul deeply in tune with the world around her.
In her words...
"Memories of you
Glowing in my mind
Like a blown-out match
In a dark room."
"For what is your life?
It is a vapor that appears for a little time
and then vanishes away."
