Nancy Cooley MacFarlane, 84, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2013. She was born in Baltimore, MD. She has resided in Pensacola for over 57 years. She retired from Baptist Hospital as a medical technologist in the Pathology Department. Her joy and interest in her Scottish Heritage included genealogy research, Scottish dancing, and several trips to Scotland to visit friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mabel and Edward Owen; her first husband, Nelson R. Cooley, Sr. and her second husband, Duncan MacFarlane. She is survived by her brother, Robert E. Owen (Lois) of Parkville, MD and her two children, Susan R. Cooley of New Orleans, LA and Nelson R. Cooley, Jr. (Kathy). She is also survived by her niece and nephew and 2 grand nephews and 2 grand nieces. Memorial Service will be held 1:00pm Friday, January 10, 2014 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, 2276 Airport Blvd., Pensacola, FL. Burial will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery at NAS Pensacola.
