Neil Terry McKeown, 84, of Pensacola, FL passed away on Friday, August 18, 2017.

Although born in Brooklyn, NY, Neil grew up in Newport News, VA where she attended St. Vincent de Paul School from Grade 1 to 12, graduating in 1950. After graduation, Neil married Harry S. McKeown on July 19, 1950. Together they had 10 children. Their married life was spent in Newport News, VA; Pensacola, FL; Panama City, FL, and back to Pensacola in 1996.

Neil enjoyed crocheting and she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Neil was preceded in death by her oldest child, Harry S. McKeown, Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Harry S. McKeown, Sr.; sons and daughters, Danny McKeown (Liz), Maggie McKeown (Charlie), Genevieve McKeown (Susan), Charles McKeown, Terry McKeown (Luke), Jonathan McKeown (Sarah), Julia Bates (Greg), Bill McKeown (Kim) and Amy McKeown along with 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 3-4pm Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Harper Morris Memorial Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9am Thursday, August 24, 2017 at the Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel, Pensacola, FL, with Fr. Joseph P. Callipare, celebrant.

Interment will be in The Catholic Cemetery on Frankford Ave. and 14 ^th St., in Panama City, FL at 2pm Thursday, August 24, 2017.

Active pallbearers will be members of the family.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
