Neil D. Overholtz, 49, of Pensacola, died on February 9, 2022.

Neil was born in Gaithersburg, MD on May 8, 1972, to Nina and Ronald Overholtz. He graduated valedictorian from Crestview High School, attended the University of Florida, and graduated with his Juris Doctor degree from the Stetson University School of Law. He was a partner at Aylstock, Witkin, Kreis, and Overholtz, PLLC.

Neil is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Brad.

He is survived by his wife, Gaye Overholtz; children, Katie, Grace, Emily, and Carl; as well as his siblings, Billy, Annette, Dena, and Kara. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Dr. Elaine Fields. He was loved by many nieces and nephews.

Neil was a loving husband, devoted father, accomplished attorney, and a fun and loyal friend. He was a passionate Florida Gator fan and a proud member of the University of Florida Bull Gator booster program. He was a member of the Fiesta Board of Governors and Conquistadors.

Private family services will be held.
