Nell Morris Kennedy, 92, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 31, 2020.

Nell was a lifetime resident of Pensacola, born on August 25, 1927, the first child of six to Carey L. Morris and Maud Oma Cravey. She graduated from Pensacola High School and attended Florida State College for Women in Tallahassee. Nell married Thomas Seilles Kennedy, Jr. and worked as a court clerk administrator for Escambia county until she retired. She was a member of St. Christopher's church and sang in their choir for many years, for weddings and other occasions. Nell was adorable. She had drive and a spirit that will always be remembered. Her smile and laughter were contagious. All that have known Nell had the pleasure of enjoying her spunky personality.

She is preceded in death by the love of her life, Thomas Seilles Kennedy, Jr, her parents and her siblings, Don Morris, Faye Morris Palin, Ray Morris, and June Morris Sherrill.

Nell is survived by her four children, Pamela Kennedy Abby, (Bruce-deceased) of Newburyport, MA, Thomas Seilles Kennedy, III (Sheryl) of Pensacola, FL, Carey Morris Kennedy (John Price) of Anderson, SC, and Diane Lenore Kennedy of Pensacola, FL; her grandchildren, Vanessa Michelle Kennedy of Charleston, SC, Thomas Seilles Kennedy, IV, and Mallory Kennedy McNary (Jordan) both of Pensacola, Logan Morris Abby (Allie) of Portland, MA and her youngest sister, Elizabeth Morris Cyr (Leo) of Gulf Breeze, FL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be held 1:00pm Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Bayview Memorial Park with Rev. Susan Sowers officiating.
