Nell J. Viverette, 95, of Pensacola, FL,  gracefully passed into her Savior's arms on Tuesday, June 9, 2020.

Nell was born in the family home to Everett and Ella Viola Johnston in Louisville, MS. She attended Southern Business College in Meridian, MS where she met her husband of fifty-four years, Aubrey Clay Viverette, Jr. She retired from Sacred Heart Hospital as the Assistant to the acting Administrator of the Daughters of Charity.

Nell is remembered as a kind spirit who loved the Lord, her family and friends. Nell was a member of McIlwain Presbyterian Church for decades. She held close to her heart her church family and friendships in the Ladies of Grace. Nell had a passion for gardening, baking and she was an avid reader. She felt blessed to be a mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her husband Clay, daughter Saundra Nell Viverette, brother Everett and sister Flora.

Nell is survived by two daughters, Suzette V. Bulla and Virginia Petroutson (John); 5 grandchildren, Debra Lynn Mamlberg (Brandon), Stacey Marie Berry (Erika), Brian Daniel Berry (Karen), Caitlin Elizabeth Bulla and William Brenden Bulla; 6 great grandchildren, Ashton, Penn, Emmett, Zane, Daniel, and Bryce; as well as her sister, Joe Ann Livingston. Her family treasures fond memories of her spunky spirit, feistiness, her coconut cake, oatmeal crispies and her special hot chocolate.

In addition to Nell's biological daughters, she held close to her heart Vivian Joiner, Huong Nguyen Arms, Cathy Anderson, Sally Grace, Michelle Gallagher, Wendy Lamar and Sharon Dickinson.

A visitation will be held on Friday, June 12, 2020 from 11:30 am until the funeral service begins at 12:30 pm at McIlwain Presbyterian Church with Pastor Rob Looper officiating. A private graveside service will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery.

Those honoring Nell as pallbearers include: Brian Berry, Will Bulla, John Pertroutson, Terry Anderson, Terry Viverette and Rob Looper.
