Dell had a heart full of love, compassion and joy. She was a devout Christian and a longtime member of Brownsville Assembly of God Church. Dell had a deep concern for children and taught children's Sunday school for over 30 years. She and Mary Beasley started and taught Children's Church for years.
Dell loved her family and friends were always having gatherings at her house where she served delicious southern cuisine from a warm and generous heart. She was artistic and had a great sense of humor and an easy laugh. She loved everyone, forgave easily and was loved by all who knew her.
