Olga Francisca de Los Angeles Frontera Jones, 87 of Jacksonville, Fl and formerly of Pensacola, FL passed away Thursday, June 6, 2013 in Jacksonville, FL. Mrs. Jones was born on October 4, 1925, in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. There, she married William Campbell Jones on December 19, 1942, at the age of 17. They were married 67 years until Bill's death in January of 2010. Olga's family was her life. She had four children, the oldest, William Boykin Jones (Julia) of Chattanooga, TN, who predeceased his parents in 2004, twins Steven Thomas Jones of Pensacola, FL, and Robert Joseph Jones (Penny) of Jacksonville, FL, and the youngest, Mary Lisa Jones of Henderson, NV. She had six grandchildren, Leanne Hood (Lance), Christy Jones, Tiffany Kohl (Julian), Stephanie Phillips (Kalind), Carl Jones, and Michael Jones; six great grandchildren, Ashlyn and Breanna Hood, Liliana Koyck, Felix and Fiona Kohl, and Gavin Phillips with a little sister on the way. She is also predeceased by her parents and siblings, and many nieces and nephews in Puerto Rico and around the country to list. Olga attended Pensacola Junior College while her children were in school. She acquired her Licensed Practical Nursing degree and worked at Sacred Heart Hospital in the Coronary Care Unit. She retired approximately ten years later after her own coronary bypass surgery. Olga was a giver, a nurturer, and a wonderful friend to so many. She was an incredible baker who received many requests for her homemade cakes which she provided with pleasure for free. She was heavily involved in her church and a devout Catholic who said her rosary every day at home. She was also involved for many years with her Bridge Club. Olga will be fondly remembered for her smile, her laugh, and most of all her loving character. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. The Rosary will be prayed at 5:00pm Monday, June 10, 2013 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with the visitation following until 7:00pm. Funeral Services will be 10:00am Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Deacon Richard Lurton officiating. Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
