Olga Sarmiento Mattair, 50, of Gulf Breeze, FL passed away Thursday, December 27, 2012. Olga was born in Carcasi, Columbia, SA on October 14, 1962. She worked at Trends Salon as a Nail Technician. She loved her job and the people she worked with as well as her longtime clients (friends). Olga was proud to be a naturalized citizen of the United States on September 6, 2008. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, day trips with her friends, travel to Columbia to be with her family, surf fishing and her favorite freshwater fishing hole in Red Level, AL, children, Telenovelas and spoiling her dog. Olga was a loving mother, wife and friend who had the capability to touch your soul and give the gift of joy. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Sanchez; her father, Evangelista Sarmiento; and her father-in-law, Lloyd Mattair. Survivors include her loving husband, Wayne Mattair; son, Jonathan Sarmiento Mattair; her 3 brothers, Felix, Camilo and Alfonso Sanchez; 3 sisters, Flor Guerrero, Margarita and Marina Sanchez; brother-in-laws, Lloyd Mattair (Mary) and Kenneth Mattair (Sharon); sister-in-law, Elaine Nissley; mother-in-law, Constance Mattair; as well as nephew and wife, Alejandro Angarita and Sandra Triana. Memorial Service will be held 1:00pm Sunday, January 6, 2012 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Rev. Gabriel Vargas officiating.
