On Friday, June 2, 2017, Olivia passed away, quietly, in her sleep. She was 75 years old.

If you knew Olivia, you know that she was funny, and giving; kind and adventurous. We will all remember her for this. If you did not know her we all wish you had.

She was the best of mothers and the best of wives. She travelled to Yellowstone and Singapore; to Thailand and Cambodia; to Peru and Russia. She tent camped with her two daughters across the United States and Canada. And, she took cruises to Greece and Mexico. She rafted the Grand Canyon with her family and kayaked the Gauley River in West Virginia.

She was a graduate of Florida State University Music School and an avid Seminole fan!

She was a former President of the Northwest Florida Council of Girl Scouts and was a certified Master Gardner. She also was Interim Music Director at First Baptist Church of Pensacola and Teacher of Year for Escambia County. She sang in her church choir, played the piano and the cello.

She first loved her family and then her church and the many, many people she called her friends. We are proud of her for this dedication and also for the love she always showed us.

Olivia is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ron Swaine. Her daughter, Alicia and her husband Dallas; her daughter, Meredith and her husband Colin and her two grand children, Olivia,11 and Conley, 8.

She was an amazing person and we will miss her very much.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the First Baptist Church of Pensacola, Main Sanctuary, on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at 3:00pm. Visitation will be held at 2:00pm.
