Patricia Anderson died Monday, April 2, 2012 at her home in FWB. She was a native of Pensacola. She attended Pensacola High School, followed by Judson College for Women. An accomplished pianist and singer, she return to Pensacola, married, and attended Pensacola Junior College earning an Associate's Degree in Music. She was a member of the Pensacola Choral Society. She earned her Master's in Business Finance from Troy State College, earning a 4.0 in her undergraduate and graduate degrees. Her career with the Department of Defense as a Price Analyst, took her to Georgia, Virginia, Alabama and finally to Eglin Air Force Base where she retired in January of 2011. She earned many awards and honors during her 32 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents; Leslie Roland and Mae Lilly (Kelley) Blanchard, and her sister; Jerri Faye (Blanchard) Alford. She is survived by a daughter; Lesley Susanne Parker, Pensacola, FL; two sons; Edward Earl Parker Jr., Orange Grove, TX, Jason Lee Parker and wife Kerry of Yorktown, TX; three grandchildren; Edward Earl Parker III, Ryan Benettsen and Kaylee Parker; brother-in-law; Lamar Alford; two nieces; Dr. Kelley Alford Renton, DeFuniak Springs, FL, Catherine Alford, Pensacola, FL; and two great nieces; Myra Renton, and Kyndal Grace Renton Owen. A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel on Airport Blvd with Chaplain Ken Griffin officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association in her honor.
