Patricia Mary Hoffman (née Cullen) died at the age of 93 on May 27, 2017 in St. Petersburg, FL surrounded by her family.

She was born in Bixiuingham, England, the eldest of six siblings, and served in the British Army Signal Corps during WWII. An American GI spotted her on a dance floor and announced to his friends that he was going to marry her, leading to a whirlwind romance and her happy marriage to Charles Raymond Hoffman Jr. that lasted 63 years until his death in 2009. Patricia earned a BA in Humanities and Art from the University of West Florida in 1980 and was a talented painter.

She is survived by daughters; Maureen (Vince) Shankey and Teresa (Jim) Greenley; son, Charles Hoffman (Tina Pinkerton); grandchildren, Ian (Kelly) and Meghann Shankey, Erin (Will) and Brendan Greenley and great-grandchildren, James and Rebecca Kurtz and Erin Shankey.

Patricia's warmth, kindness and generosity will be sorely missed.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:30pm Monday, June 5, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lillian, AL with visitation beginning at 12:00pm. Burial will be at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, FL at 2:00pm.
