IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patricia D.
Webb
July 16, 1942 – February 18, 2020
Patricia "Pat" D. Webb, 77 of Pensacola, FL passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2020.
In July, 1942, the world was blessed by the birth of Patricia, to loving parents, Harry and Dorothea Gilmore, in Jersey City, NJ. A proud "Jersey Girl", blessed with a beautiful smile, and a loving heart, she grew up, spreading joy and happiness to those around her. She graduated from Fair Lawn High School in 1960. In 1962, she married a young Army officer, Ernie Webb, at West Point, NY. They then traveled the world, where she continued her special touch of spreading joy; always ready and available to assist those in need. She exemplified the words of Jesus to: "Love thy neighbor." She and Ernie considered themselves more than blessed at the birth of two beautiful people----- their children, Michael and Maureen.
Pat and Ernie retired to Pensacola, FL, where Pat became a "fixture" of the local tennis community, while continuing her own special mission of providing joy and understanding.
During this period, Pat and Ernie enjoyed many awesome blessings: 1. The marriage of both children: Michael married Jane Kolunie and Maureen married Michael Thorsen. 2. These blessings were followed by the birth of two beautiful grandchildren: Makenna Thorsen and Miller Thorsen. To those who have not known the joy of grandchildren..... may God soon bless you with them. Ours filled both our hearts with continuous love, joy, and happiness.
Today, my heart is conflicted. Horrible pain----- I must say goodbye to the most wonderful item in my life: my life's companion--- my wife, Pat Webb.... Great happiness------ the love of my life is now in heaven, with our Lord--------- where, I know she continues her prayers for all of us. Please remember her by reaching out to those in need---- and offering them some solace, and the blessings of our Lord. Amen
Pat is preceded in death by her son Michael Webb and brother Rocky Gilmore.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ernie Webb; daughter, Maureen Thorsen; son-in-law, Mike Thorsen; granddaughter, Makenna Thorsen; grandson, Miller Thorsen; daughter-in-law, Jane Kolunie Webb; brother, Art Gilmore and sister, Kathleen Gilmore.
