Sean was born to Sherrel Masters and Charles Peterson on July 15, 1969 in Parkersburg, WV where he was raised and attended Parkersburg High School. He joined the U S Air Force and graduated from the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Sean was a decorated Air Force Veteran he served in Desert Storm, Desert Shield, and the Gulf War. His last assignment was with the 58th Fighter Squad. Sean was very active in volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, beach clean ups, Rebuilding Together and Motorcycle Toy Run. Sean was a motorcycle enthusiast and a member of the Benevolent Bikers Motorcycle Club. Sean's 1999 Harley Davidson Softail that he completely customized was one of his great joys.
Despite Sean's ALS Diagnosis he had no fear of death as he knew he would be joining his beloved granddaughter, Braylynn. His family is comforted knowing that they are now together probably watching, "My Little Pony". His loving wife, Tracy stood by his side loving and supporting him through his battle with ALS. During his two year illness, Sean showed remarkable courage, determination, and the strength of a warrior. He threw no white flags. In his final days, ALS tried to tell him it was time to go, but being strong willed and always putting his family first, Sean waited for all of his children to be by his side to let go.
