Patrick James Stephens, 67, passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2010. Pat was born August 8, 1943, in Pensacola, FL. He graduated from Pensacola Catholic High School in 1961. He began his automotive career in the family business, Stephens Bee-Line. He was currently a self-employed auto damage appraiser, Auto Casualty Control. Pat was a stock car racing enthusiast and an avid golfer. He loved life and lived it to its fullest. He was preceded in death by his daughter, April Cleveland; his mother and father, Marge and Jim Stephens; and brothers, Bill and Tom Stephens. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; daughter Elizabeth Stephens; granddaughter, Emily Richey, all of Pensacola; sisters Theresa (John) Pankhurst and Deborah (Allen) Jelks, both of Panama City; sister-in-law, Cecile Stephens of Milton; step-sons David, Michael, and Wesley Graham; and step-grandchildren Bradley, Madlin, Charity and Ian Graham all of Pensacola. He is also survived by several aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 15, 2010, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Harper Morris Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will be at Harper Morris Memorial Chapel on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Honorary pallbearers : Ronnie Williams, Roy Radford, Bill Gulsby, Ron Morgan, Bobby Riggs, Johnny Edwards, David Blake, Jimmy Kelson, Curry Bonds and Bill Thompson. The family would like to thank the staff and volunteers of Select Specialty Care Hospital and the Joyce Goldenberg Hospice for their care and concern during Pats illness.
