Patsy Ann Hutchins, 77, of Pensacola, FL, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026.

Patsy was born in McCurtain County, OK on May 16, 1948, and lived a life defined by love, faith and devotion. She was a woman whose greatest joy came from the people she cherished most – her family. A devoted mother, she leaves behind her three daughters, who were the pride of her life, along with seven beloved grandchildren and three treasured great-grandchildren. Each of them carried a special place in her heart, and she poured her love into them in countless ways.

Patsy shared a deep and enduring love with Lawrence Hutchins, who recently preceded her in passing. Their profound love was one of true partnership and affection, a bond that remained strong and steadfast through the years. Their love was one that was better than any love story.

Her faith in God was the foundation of her life; this is where she found her strength and purpose. Her unwavering belief guided her actions, her kindness, and the way she cared for others. She lived her faith daily, offering compassion, encouragement, and grace to those around her. Those who knew Patsy will remember her as a woman of quiet strength, deep devotion, and a generous spirit. She was a blessing to her family and to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her life was truly a blessed one, filled with love, faith and meaningful connections.

Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and all who were touched by her warmth and devotion. She took great pride in her family and valued her role as a wife, mother, sister, and Mema. She was a devoted mother to, Deborah (Jim) Nowosad, Lisa McFatter, and Paula (Jason) Cawby; Mema to, Joshua (LeAnn) McFatter, Jacob (Nikki) McFatter, Joseph (Alexia) McFatter, Meghan (Danny) Traver, Cassie (Toby Leon) Nowosad, Ryan Cawby, Ryleigh (Logan) Malone, Dwight (Cahterine) Wilson, and Robert (Jessica) Wilson; great grandmother to, Aubrey, Khole, and Layla; and sister to Jerry Palmer (Linda) and Angie Palmer.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Hutchins; her mother, Thaddie Mae Lykins; her father, Floyd Palmer; her brother, Curtis Palmer; as well as her sister, Linda Yingling.

A visitation will be held from 9:00am until a funeral service begins at 9:30am Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Apostolic Life United Pentecostal Church, 6720 Mobile Hwy., Pensacola, FL 32526. Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery.

The family appreciates and are thankful for the love and support of their friends and family during this time. A heartfelt thank you to Christie, Diana, Novalee and Laquan for the extraordinary care, compassion and love they gave to Patsy, for bringing peace, reassurance, and light when it was needed most.
