Paul James Morrison, 58 of Pensacola, passed away Friday, March 15, after a long battle with illness. Born in Pensacola on December 6, 1954, Paul graduated from Woodham High School in 1972 and graduated from Pensacola State College with a degree in Cosmetology. He was a member of the Phi Sigma Tau fraternity. Paul enjoyed hunting, fishing and water sports. His hobbies were collecting bibles and studying family genealogy. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin who enjoyed making others laugh with his youthful, fun-loving antics, and later in life, offering advice to younger family members. His grandparents, Archie and Helen Morgan of Molino and Paul Frank and Agnes Morrison of Pensacola, precede Paul in death. He is survived by his parents, Robert James and Beverly Morrison of Pensacola; his sister, Suzanne Morrison Davis (Jimmy) of Monroeville, AL; an uncle, John Elvis Morgan (Elise) of Pensacola; nieces, Rachel Davis Cone (David) and Emilie Davis Oglesby (Joseph); cousins, the Rev. Nan Morgan Adams, Martha Beverly Morgan and Morgan Adams Tredo (Greg); and great nieces, Beverly Emmeline Cone and Eloise Nan Oglesby. The family received guests Monday, March 18, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, followed by a 2 p.m. funeral service officiated by the Rev. Nan Adams. A graveside service was held at the Morgan Cemetery on Highway 29 in Pine Barren, FL. James Folsom Davis, David Wayne Cone and Joseph Edward Oglesby served as pallbearers.
