Paula Jean Hendrieth, 60, of Pensacola, FL went home to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, October 17, 2014. Paula was born on November 11, 1953 in Pensacola, FL at Our Lady of Angels St. Josephs Clinic. She graduated from Pensacola Catholic High School class of 1972. She attended Florida Agriculture and Mechanical University of Tallahassee and ultimately graduated from the University of West Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Education. Paula taught school for 38 years in Bay, Leon and Escambia Counties. She taught 25 of those years at Holm Elementary School. She enjoyed dancing, singing and loved theatre. Paula is preceded in death by her father, Robert L. Hendrieth, Sr.; two sisters, Lillia Hendrieth Carvin and Patricia Hendrieth Richardson; as well as her grandmother, Sallie M. Jackson. Survivors include her loving mother, Pearlie M. Hendrieth; brother, Robert L. Hendrieth of Tallahassee, FL; sons, Christopher Shawn Montgomery and Xaiver J. Wilson; grandchildren, Christian Montgomery and Cayden Montgomery; nieces, LaNita Byrd Williams, LaTarsha Flowers of Miami, FL, Tamiko Hendrieth, Tanisha Hendrieth and Crystal Hendrieth of Tallahassee, FL; nephew, Mathew Hendrith of Tennessee; special cousins, William Hendrieth, Gordon Hendrieth, Dwight Hendrieth and Fred Jackson, Jr.; god-children, Regina Gordon, Corlyss Wright, Thomas Blackwell, Tia Holmes and Chase Marcanio; god-brother, Jeffery Harrison; special friends, Wanda Holmes, Barbara Baker, Gloria McSwain and Pamela Glenn. Visitation will be held 5-7pm Friday, October 24, 2014 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Funeral Service will be held 2:00pm Saturday, October 25, 2014 at First Assembly of God, 4301 Bayou Blvd., Pensacola, FL 32503, with Pastor David Scruggs officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Don W. Buckley and staff, Mrs. Simpkins and Holms Elementary staff, family, friends, Pastor and church family.
