Paula Sargent, 56, of Gulf Breeze, FL passed away Saturday, November 28, 2009. Paula was born in Vandalia, IL on March 23, 1956, and graduated from the University of Louisville with a degree in accounting. She was a homemaker and a loving mother of her children. Paula was a former member of the Junior League in Atlanta, GA, her hobbies included sewing, decorating and collecting antiques. She is survived by her husband Doug Sargent; daughter Sarah Sargent; son Jack Sargent all of Gulf Breeze, FL; father Robert Slater; mother Arlene Slater; brothers Steve Slater and Mike Slater all of Vandalia, IL; brother Jeff Slater of Atlanta, GA; and her dog "Buddy", who loved and protected her. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00pm Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice, 5041 N. 12th Avenue, Pensacola, FL 32504. HARPER-MORRIS MEMORIAL CHAPEL is in charge of arrangements.
