Pauline L. Nelson, 83, of Gulf Breeze, FL passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013. Pauline was born on March 25, 1930 in her home town of Waukegan, IL. She was a caring and loving nurse at West Florida Hospital for 23 years. Pauline loved life and lived to the fullest. She was blessed with a beautiful voice and loved to sing. She loved people and lasting relationships and as a loving and caring nurse her beauty shined towards the care of her patients. She was a long time member of Christ Episcopal Church and was very active with the Episcopal Church Women (ECW). Pauline was also a devoted loving mother and a kind compassionate friend. Her laughter will continue as an echo in our hearts and her smile will always be remembered and glow in our spirits. She is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert F. Nelson; daughter, Nanette Nelson as well as her mother, Carrie J. Galley. Survivors include her sons, Derek Nelson and David Nelson; granddaughters, Natasha-Nicole Machado and Brittney Johnson. Memorial Service will be held 10:00am Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Christ Episcopal Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gulf Breeze Courtyard, 3428 Gulf Breeze Pkwy, Gulf Breeze, FL 32563.
