Mary "Peaches" Irene Perdue, 84, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2020.
She was born on June 26, 1936 in Pensacola, FL to Laurel E. and Edna J. Perdue. Peaches was a very independent women and attended some college both at Pensacola Junior College as well as Florida State University. She was an avid reader and found great interest in history. She enjoyed volunteering at the Downtown Pensacola Library.
She is preceded in death by her parents, as well as a son, Steve Henderson.
Survivors include her daughter, Dottie Henderson; son, Scott Henderson; granddaughter, Selena Weinman (Brandon), and their children, Caleb, Jaxson, and Kinsley; granddaughter, Nicole Stringer; granddaughter, Kristen (Kenny) Sappington, and their children, Allie, Kade and Tori; grandson, Jessy (Hollie) Henderson, and their children, Nichole and Alex; granddaughter, Summer Henderson, and her children, Jada and Jasmine; granddaughter, Lily Henderson (Mateo, Sr.) and their son, Mateo, Jr.; sisters, Jeanne Perdue; Margaret (Ted) Weidman; brother, Rick (Betty) Perdue; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 10:00am-10:45am Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Graveside Service will be held 11:00am Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Bayview Memorial Park with Rev. Ken Griffin officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Emerald Coast Hospice.
The family would like to extend thanks to Emerald Coast Hospice, Doctors and staff at the Woodlands, and a very special thanks to Parys Finch, Santana Jackson, and Catie Clayton for helping us take care of Peaches in her final days.
