Peggy Orgusaar, 88, of Pensacola, FL., passed away February 13, 2016. She was born on September 3, 1927, in Birmingham, AL.
Peggy was a graduate of Pensacola High School, class of 1946 and attended Pensacola Junior College. She worked at Southern Bell Telephone Company before marrying Dr. Rudolf Orgusaar in 1958. Later in life Peggy became a team member at Target and enjoyed the friendships she made with her Target family.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dr. Rudolf Orgusaar and parents, Robert H. Smith and Florence DeJarnette Smith.
She is survived by her two sons, Rudolf (Anna) Orgusaar, Jr. and Robert (Roshelle) Orgusaar; daughter, Julie (Brian) Angus; sister, Sarah Rogers; grandchildren, Ian (Yami) Lynch, Ryan (Krista) Orgusaar, Emily Orgusaar and Nicole (Aaron) Clark as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Peggy was a member of the Pioneers, Daughters of the American Revolution, Escarosa Women's Club, Garden Club and Beta Sigma Phi sorority.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 16th from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel at 2276 Airport Boulevard, Pensacola, FL., 32504 and graveside services will be held on Wednesday, February 17th at 10:00 AM at Bayview Memorial Park at 3351 Scenic Highway officiated by Pastor Larry Armstrong.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Luke United Methodist Church 1394 E. Nine Mile Road, Pensacola, FL., 32514.
