Peggy A. Golson Peeterse, 85, of Pace, FL, passed away at her home after a short battle with cancer on Tuesday, December 27, 2022.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who always put her family first. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling and going to the casinos. She was always up for "a ride".

She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Charles D. Peeterse Sr; son, Randall "Randy" Peeterse; parents, Wyatte & Etta Golson; brothers, Wyatte "Bub" Golson Jr, Ben Golson and Jay Golson; sisters, Mary Mitchell and Eva Mitchell and Audrey "Bootsie" Golson.

She is survived by children, Charles Peeterse Jr (Mitzi), Craig Peeterse (Trina), Steve Peeterse (Dana) and Suzanne Gandy (Haynes); along with 24 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm-7:00pm Monday, January 2, 2023, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, 2276 Airport Blvd., Pensacola, FL 32504.

Funeral Service will be held 10:00am Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Father Nicholas Schumm officiating. Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.

Active pallbearers will be grandsons: Steven Peeterse, Dan Peeterse, Lee Hallum, Jody Blount, Garrett Gandy and Matthew Daniel.
