Pete was born in New Brockton, AL on January 14, 1923 to Oscar and Clyde (Brabham) Jones. He served his country in the U S Army for 12 years. Pete attended the University of Alabama where he was a member of Kappa Sigma Phi Fraternity. On August 26, 1956 he married Edith Irene Dunnavant Jones. He retired as a Supervisor Administrator with Air Products in Pace, FL. Pete was a member of the Pensacola Lions Club and a faithful member of St. Mark United Methodist Church. An avid fan of the University of Alabama Football Teams, Pete always loved to say, "Roll Tide".

Preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife Irene Jones.

Visitation will be 12noon until the Funeral Service at 1:00pm Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at St. Mark United Methodist Church with Rev. Laura Weant and Rev. Paul D. Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.

Honorary pallbearers will be the St. Mark-Berean Sunday School Class.
