Phil Jacob, age 87, died Sunday August 16, 2009 unexpectedly in his home. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Anna Dolly and beloved granddaughter, Jenna. He was a wonderful husband, father, grand and great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his family including children; Philip (Flip) Jacob (Lanna), Bob Jacob and Janet Bailey (Ron); five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, numerous relatives, friends and special friends from Westinghouse and the Veranda. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, August 20, 2009 at St. Paul Catholic Church with Fr. Doug Halsema celebrant. A private burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Paul Catholic School Jenna Jacob Memorial Fund, 3121 Hyde Park Rd. Pensacola, FL 32503 in memory of Philip Jacob. Harper Morris Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
