It is with great sadness that the family of Quinn Patrick Garrett announces his sudden passing on January 26 ^th 2019. Quinn was born on June 20, 2005 in Pensacola, Fl. to parents Timothy and Janet Garrett.

He attended Trinity Learning Center and later enrolled in Sacred Heart Cathedral School where he was currently attending as an 8 ^th grader.

Quinn was a funny and affectionate boy with a larger than life personality and a truly kind heart. He loved animals and, for his age, had unique interests, such as performing magic tricks, juggling, and playing chess. But his real passion and talent were for sports. Quinn was a natural athlete who excelled in golf, soccer, and basketball.

He also enjoyed spending his spare time laughing at the many antics that YouTube videos provided, mastering his Xbox skills with his friends late into the evening, and playfully bantering with his big sister, Nina, whom he adored.

Quinn will be lovingly remembered by his mother Janet Garrett, his sister Nina Garrett, his grandmothers Vilma Molina and Judy Cote, and his grandfathers Frank Garrett and Gil Cote. He also enjoyed a close relationship with a large extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Quinn was preceded in death by his father Timothy Garrett, his grandfather Efrain Molina, and his aunt Beverly Harrelson.

A funeral mass will be held at The Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, 1212 E Moreno St, Pensacola, FL 32503, on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019 at 2pm with a reception to follow in the Ave Maria Hall. Father James Valenzuela will serve as celebrant.

We would like to extend thanks to all of the friends and family for their endless support and love in this difficult time. Additionally, we would like to thank Catholic High School, Sacred Heart Cathedral and school and the Catholic diocese as a whole for their overwhelming love and support.
