Ralph Leon Urbaniak, 92, of Pensacola, FL was called home Saturday, September 28, 2019.

He was born August 12, 1927 in Pensacola, FL to the late Roman and Maggie Urbaniak. Ralph served 7 years in the US Army Air Corps, after which he served as an Aviation Metal Smith at NAS Pensacola, for 30 years. Ralph was so accomplished that he was often requested by name to work on Blue Angel aircraft. He retired at the age of 55 and went to work for Liedner Construction, fabricating shipping containers for Westinghouse Electric Corporation. There he worked alongside his daughter for 21 years. Ralph loved his work and it showed, earning many awards at work and many more in the adoration of his family at home. He was known for his generosity, craftsmanship and love of the outdoors. Ralph was particularly skilled at drawing, making one of a kind walking canes / sticks, furniture and swings as gifts for family and friends. He was an exceptional husband and a dedicated father.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Sandra A. (Mike) Roberts; sister, Voncile Echeraria; and a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held 9:30am until the memorial service begins at 10:00am Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, 2276 Airport Blvd., Pensacola, FL 32504 with Pastor Jim Stickle officiating.
