Obituary

Randy Menge, 48, a resident of Pensacola, Florida, passed away on June 21, 2018. Randy was a lifelong resident of the Pensacola area, and a graduate of Pensacola Catholic High School. After attending college in Auburn, Alabama, Randy returned to Pensacola and worked in the fields of marine construction and demolition, boat and heavy equipment sales and repairs, and general construction. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time on the water with his friends and with his beloved dogs, Troy and Emmitt. Randy was preceded in death by his father, M.J. Menge. He is survived by his fiance' Angela Griffith of Pensacola; his mother Sandra Dennison Menge of Jacksonville; sister Vivian Menge Gallo and her husband Dr. John Gallo of Jacksonville; nephews Jackson Gallo and Patrick Gallo of Jacksonville; Uncle Frank Menge and Aunt Jewell Menge of Panama City; Uncle Denny Dennison of Lake Charles, LA; cousin Josh Menge of Florala, AL; cousin Bradley Dennison of Houston, TX; cousin Greg Kainz of Orlando; cousin Jace Johnson of New Orleans, LA; cousin Amy Johnson of Los Angeles, CA; cousin Beth Wolf of Los Angeles, CA; cousin Jeff Kainz of Melbourne; and cousin John Menge of Tallahassee. The family wishes to thank all of Randy's friends who expressed their support and concern over the past months, and to send special thanks to Joe Langston, Stella Athanasios, Palmer Scarritt, Sacred Heart Hospital, the Sacred Heart Oncology and Palliative Care physicians and nurses, and Covenant Hospice. A Visitation will be held on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Harper Morris Memorial Chapel, 2276 Airport Boulevard, Pensacola, FL. A Memorial Service will immediately follow the Visitation, at 4:00 p.m. at Harper Morris Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the M.J. Menge Scholarship Fund at Pensacola State College, at 1000 College Boulevard, Bldg. 17, Pensacola, FL 32504.
