Obituary

Raymond R. Heindl, age 91, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 14, with his sons by his side.

Ray was born in Charleston, WV, on December 20, 1929 to the late Fredrick Heindl and Marie Skiba. In addition to his parents, Ray is preceded in death by his wife, Patti; his brothers, Fred and Carl and sister, Margaret. Ray earned the rank of Sergeant in the USMC and served during the Korean War.

Ray & Patti were married May 1954 and moved to Pensacola where Ray worked for Air Products in Pace for over 35 years until his retirement. Ray was a founding member of St Paul's Catholic Church and served the Lord through countless hours of volunteering setting up for services, visiting homebound and just being a spiritual presence.

Ray is survived by his sons, Chris (Michele) and Tim (Kelly); grandchildren, Cole, Luke, Sidney and Ben; West Virginia nephews, Fred, Mark, Johnny and nieces Mary Lou and Claudia.

A private family Funeral Mass was held at St. Paul Catholic Church.

The family wishes to thank Dad's "girlfriends" at Wesley Haven especially Vera.
