Rebecca Ann Fell Edmondson departed this life April 27, 2020 for her heavenly home with Jesus Christ. A woman of great faith, she was a long time member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Warrington.

Becky, as she was affectionately known, was a lifelong resident of Pensacola with ancestors dating back to the founding of Pensacola. As a direct descendant of Don Francisco Moreno, her heritage followed from his daughter Angela Moreno Mallory.

A graduate of the Pensacola Catholic High Class of '66 she pursued her studies and graduated from Sacred Heart Junior College, Cullman Alabama, 1968.

Becky enjoyed many years of service with the Escambia County Sheriff's office in Pensacola interrupted only by her marriage to Lt Joel Edmondson and subsequent travel as a navy wife. She eventually returned to again take up duties with the Sheriff department and retired after 30 years there.

A devout Catholic, Becky served in many capacities of leadership at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. She served on the Parish Council for many years, was a greeter, a counter, and part of the funeral ministry.

Becky was a "homebody!" She loved her home and was content to be there and enjoying it and her family. She had just moved into the Riviera Apartments, enjoyed meeting new friends and delighted in remodeling & decorating her apartment. A great cook, she delighted family and friends with her delicious dinners!

Becky's heart was with her family. She loved her family, her husband, her kids and her siblings, her cousins & friends with a love that never failed. She was enjoyed all family events, adding her warmth and delightful personality to every gathering.  She was known for her wit and humor but also her deep compassionate nature and kindness to all. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.

Becky is preceded in death by her parents, Stephen Walton Fell and Angela Bruno Fishburn; brother, Stephen Vincent Fell; step-father, Herb Fishburn.

Becky is survived by her spouse, Captain Joel M. Edmondson of Pensacola, FL; sons, Kevin J. Edmondson (Stephanie) of Virginia Beach, VA and Keith M. Edmondson (Rebecca) of Pensacola, FL; daughter, Karen A. Edmondson of Pensacola, FL; brother, Jerry Fell (MaryAnn) of Pensacola, FL; sisters, Peggy White (William) of Pensacola, FL and Angela Fell of Pensacola, FL; numerous, wonderful nephews, nieces and great-nephews and great-nieces.

A Celebration of Rebecca's Life will be held at 11:30am on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 3295 Barrancas Ave., Pensacola, FL 32507.
