IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rebecca Dubose
Mccann
November 26, 1955 – April 8, 2021
Rebecca DuBose McCann, 65, of Pensacola passed away peacefully surrounded by love on Thursday, April 8, 2021. Rebecca was born in Opelika, AL on November 26, 1955 to the late W.G. "Bill" and Mary Elizabeth DuBose, Jr.
Rebecca was a Paralegal by profession. She always looked forward to her weekly R.V. excursions with Roger. Rebecca, also known as Becky, had a real knack for cooking, she especially loved cooking for her family and friends. If she cooked for you, you knew you were going to have a delicious meal. She was also an avid reader, if she was not reading, she loved to watch PBS masterpiece theatre or one of "Her British Shows". On Saturdays, she loved to shop, however, she had better be home for kickoff if Alabama was playing - ROLL TIDE! She loved becoming a "BB" (grandmother). BB loved playing with her grandchildren and taking them on adventures. She was a wonderful BB! Our BB will be dearly missed.
Those left to cherish her memory include, her loyal supporter and father to their children, Roger E. McCann, Jr.; a daughter, Jennifer Rebecca McCann (Mark Darling); a son, Roger E. "Trey" McCann, III (Amber); five grandchildren, Parker, Greenlee and Grayson Darling and Jackson and Reece McCann; two sisters, Victoria DuBose Reeder (David) and Katherine Elizabeth DuBose.
Visitation will be held 1:00pm-2:00pm Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 3:00pm at Aldersgate United Methodist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Mike Mashburn officiating.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Pruitt Health - Thank you so much for being her family when her family could not be there for her due to COVID-19.
