Regina Stevens Welch, 74, of Pensacola, FL passed away Sunday, February 2, 2025.

Regina was born in South Charleston, WV on January 30, 1951, to Searoba (Cross) and Russell James Stevens, Jr. At the age of 5, her family moved to Pensacola where she resided most of her life. Regina attended local schools and graduated from Pensacola High School in 1969. It was there where she met her high school sweetheart Steve Welch, and they married March 14, 1970. Regina played softball and pitched, loved to bowl, coached kids bowling and bowled competitively. She worked many different jobs, but her last job was at Cordova Bowling Lanes Center, if friends wanted to see Regina, they would find her at Cordova Lanes. She never met a stranger, loved everybody and talked to anybody once a friend, you were always a friend of Regina. Always giving kisses to everybody she knew and would pray for everybody. If Regina had your birth date and phone number, sometime mid-morning or afternoon on your birthday, you'd receive that "Special Happy Birthday Call", with Regina singing, Happy Birthday to you. She sang to over 200 people a year. This will be missed by many. Out of all of her adventures, her fondest was in her later years, when she and Steve traveled to Taos, NM and went for a ride in a Hot Air Balloon. Regina loved to party and was the true life of the party.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Todd Stevens and Scott Stevens.

Survivors include her loving and devoted husband of 54 years, Steve Welch; sons, Michael and Bobby Welch; grandchildren, Austin Welch, Aden Welch, Ande Welch, Jesse Welch, and Lilly Welch; sister, Rechelle Nesbitt (Carl); sister-in-law, Angie Stevens; other nieces, nephews, a special friend, Lisa Welch, and many loving friends.

A Memorial Visitation to Celebrate Regina's Life will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel.
