Rheba N. Moyer, 88, of Pensacola, FL passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2013. Rheba was born in Muscogee, FL on October 31, 1924 to Lewis and Evadne Nellums. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Peggy Ard and Lorraine Tucei and brother, L. E. Nellums. She enjoyed her family and many friends, especially her dearest friend Margaret Whitlock. After raising her five boys she enjoyed traveling, playing bridge with the "girls", tending to her flowers and her favorite pastime, shopping. She is survived by her spouse of 70 plus years, Thomas W. Moyer; sister, Frances Osborne; five sons, Bud (Gloria), Ed, Paul and Chris (Theresa) all of Pensacola and Randy (Betty) of Hattiesburg, MS; 6 grandchildren, Edward Moyer (Kelli) of Gulf Breeze, FL, Marla Degilio (Kip) of Austin, TX, Emily Jones (Greg) of St. Charles, MO, Becky Moyer of Buda, TX, Brandy Moyer and Heather Swen; 7 great grandchildren, Kylie and Alec Degilio, Kaiya and Maila Moyer, Evan, Parker and Eliah Swen. Visitation will be held 2pm until the Funeral Mass to begin at 3pm Monday, April 1, 2013 at St. Paul Catholic Church with Fr. Doug Halsema celebrant. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Bill Whitlock, Ben Gomez, Tommy Harris, Tim Moyer, Tommy Osborne and Jack Henderson. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Nunnari, Jim Osborne, Joe Pastucha, Clarence Green, Bobby LaBounty and Ray Heindl. The family wishes to express their sincere and heartfelt thanks to Dr. Amos Prevatt and staff. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Catholic Church Building Fund or the charity of your choice.
