Richard C. Dykes, Sr. went to his eternal home July 26, 2015. Mr. Dykes was retired. He is survived by his children, Mary Jane Dravenstatt, Richard Dykes, Jr., Tammy Cabana of Pace and Michael Dykes, Sr. of Pensacola; 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; sisters, Velma Penney, Betty Thompson of Pensacola; as well as a brother, Gene Dykes of Sacramento. Mr. Dykes was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Dykes; son, Dennis Dykes; brothers, Sid Gill, Maurice Dykes, James Dykes and Leroy Dykes. Pallbearers will be Michael Dykes, Jr., Richard Dykes, III, Roger Dykes, Cameron Dykes, Tanner Dykes and Adam Cabana. Visitation will be held 5-7pm Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 10:00am Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Pastor Andy Martin officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery.
