Richard B. Nicholson II, 56, of Pensacola, FL, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Richard was born October 19, 1968, in Reno, NV, to Susan (Rannikko) Kelley of Pensacola, FL, and Richard B. Nicholson, of NH.

Richard graduated from Branford CT high school in 1986 and graduated from the CT School of Electronics in 1988. He worked for the telephone company as an electronic technician for 30 years until a buyout in March of 2024.

Richard enjoyed dancing, reading, gardening, working out, playing video games, darts and playing pool (He was the captain of a CT pool team that won a championship) Richard was a member of the Benevolent Protective Order of ELKS lodge #497.

He recently moved to Pensacola with his mother in the summer of 2024. He loved the beaches and going out to eat at all the wonderful restaurants in Pensacola. He just finished building a library and a bar in the entertainment room. He really enjoyed his short retirement and extended life from a kidney transplant from his mother 21 years ago.

He is preceded in death by his father, Richard B. Nicholson.

Richard is survived by his loving mother, Susan (Rannikko) Kelley; his sister, Pennis Buonora (Vincent) of MA; a brother, Ryan Nicholson of NH; stepmother, Debra Nicholson of NH. Being from a large family on his mom's side, there are countless aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many friends to list.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00pm Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, 2276 Airport Blvd., Pensacola, FL.
