Richard A. Peden, age 78, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022. Richard was born in Glasgow, Kentucky and relocated to Pensacola, Florida courtesy of the US Navy at the end of the Vietnam Conflict. He graduated from Temple Hill High School, Glasgow, Kentucky, in 1961. He received his Bachelors degree in Agriculture from Western Kentucky. He received Masters degree in Accounting from the University of West Florida.

Richard retired from the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee in 2000.

He is survived by his loving wife, Susan E. Peden; brother, James E. Peden (Sara) of Glasgow, Kentucky; daughters, Kimberly Peden-Crittenden (Jamie) and Natalie Pate (Greg); grandchildren, Justin Pate, Holly Pate, and Kate Crittenden and great grandson Mateo Pate.

A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Sunday, September 11, 2022, immediately following at 3:00 pm will be a memorial service at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Pensacola, Florida with Dr. Hugh Hamilton officiating, with reception following in the church parlor.
