Rick Lambert,  age 77, of Pensacola Beach, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Sacred Heart Hospital, Pensacola, FL due to complications of an internal brain hemorrhage caused by a fall.

Rick was born in Great Falls, Montana in 1945 to the late William and Leona Nelson Lambert. Over the years he lived in many places in the US and abroad as the son of an US Air Force Airmen. In 1963 Rick graduated from Chamberlin High School in Tampa, FL and then attended St. Petersburg College where he received an associate degree. Rick served his country for seven years in the US Coast Guard Reserve. In 1966, Rick began working for Delta Airlines in Atlanta where he had a 34-year career as a fuel handler, ticket and gate agent.

Golf was a huge passion of Ricks, he started playing at a young age being mentored by his father. By the time Rick was in high school he was already winning tournaments. He went on to win many matches over the years and even won the Delta Men's Open four times. After retiring, he enjoyed having the time to continue playing and teaching others about the game he loved so much.

We know Rick is in Heaven, playing golf with his Dad, friends and others who shared his love of golf, his good humor and big smile.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Coretta Lambert.

Those left to cherish his memory include, his loving wife, Sandra Lambert, of Pensacola, FL; his son, Chris Lambert and his wife Andi Lambert, of Destin, FL; many friends across the country.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date to be determined.
