Rita Livingston Chinchar, 75, was taken home by our Lord to be reunited with the love of her life on Sunday, July 10, 2022.

Rita was a native of Pensacola, FL and worked for many years for Baptist Hospital and retired in 2016 from the Riesberg Institute. She enjoyed being involved in TOP's and the Steele Magnolia Women's Group. Rita was known for her generous heart and her loving smiles. When Rita loved, she loved with all the love she had in her heart. She was so proud and held so much love for her children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Elsie Mae Livingston; her brothers, James and Robert Livingston; as well as her loving husband, Robert Chinchar.

Survivors include her son, Robert Scott Chinchar (Vickie); daughter, Jamie Fillingim (Jud); grandchildren, Jacob Chinchar, Taylor Mawby, Dillon Chinchar, Tiffany Chinchar, Tatum Fillingim, and Celeste Fillingim; sisters, Kathy Howard, Anita Willingham, and Jennie Houser; as well as her brother, Russell Livingston.

Visitation will be held 9:30am until a Funeral Mass to begin at 10:30am Friday, July 15, 2022, at St. Paul Catholic Church with Fr. Steve Olson celebrant. Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.

Active pallbearers will be Matthew Mawby, Dillon Chinchar, Jacob Chinchar, William Ray, JC Alvarez, and James Chinchar.

Honorary pallbearers will be Doug Henderson and Brian Houser.
