Rita R. Finkbone, 55, of Pensacola Beach died at her home on Tuesday, January 19, 2016.

Rita was a resident of Pensacola all of her life except for when she attended and graduated from the University of Florida in Gainesville. Rita was born in Pensacola on October 24, 1960 to Earl and Mary Alice Richbourg. After college Rita moved back to the Pensacola area and immediately began work in advertising and marketing for the broadcast radio industry.

Rita loved her community, the activities, the people, the history and her causes. She served on many foundations, boards and committees. She was active in her church and an avid runner and ardent sailor.

Rita is survived by her daughter, Kylie Finkbone and brother, Rick Richbourg and his wife, Jeanne.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Mary Alice Richbourg.

Visitation will be held Sunday, January 24, 2016 at 2pm at Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church, 75 Fairpoint Dr., Gulf Breeze with a Memorial service immediately following at 3pm.

Honorary pallbearers are Tom Haddock, Jim Veal, Rick Richbourg and Brian Finkbone.
