Rita Ilene Golson McClammy, 76, native of Pensacola, FL passed peacefully on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at her home.

Rita was all about her children and grandchildren, doing countless things for them, making sure they always had everything they needed, from driving them to ball practice, to going to all their sporting events, and being a team Mom to all her kid's teams. She was also a green thumb in the garden, loving her yard, planting flowers and bushes and trees. She loved her home.

She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Thomas Wayne McClammy, Sr., a retired Captain of the Pensacola Fire Dept. She also had four wonderful children, Thomas McClammy, Jr., Kevin McClammy, Darrell (Carmen) McClammy, and Christina Godwin. She also had four awesome grandchildren, Casey McClammy, Mason and Mia McClammy, and Dylan Godwin. Rita is also survived by her 5 brothers and sisters, Frank (Libby) Golson, Judy (David Wayne) Cork, Wyatte (Mary) Golson, Etta (Andy) Scanlon, and Terry (Michelle) Golson. She had 3 sisters-in-law from her husband's side, DeeDee Lohmeyer, Debbie (Cecil) Salter, and Denean Linton and countless other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many, many other cousins, too many to name.

Visitation will be held 5-7pm Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to be prayed at 4:45pm. Funeral Service will be held 2:00pm Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Fr. Craig Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Park. Reception will follow after services.

Pallbearers will be Chad Priddy, Dusty Merritt, Noah Saenz, Travis Darr, Alex Bullock, and Greg Fennell.
