Robert "Bob" Chris Spenler was 66 years old and a resident of Navarre, FL. On October 21, 2018 he passed away at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, FL.
Bob, a long-time resident of the Gulf Coast, was an avid fisherman most of his life. Bob was born on June 5, 1952 in the small town of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He went on to join the Marine Corps after graduating from Iowa City West High School. After serving his country he proceeded on to a career in plumbing. Bob started his own plumbing business, Spenler's Plumbing, which he proudly ran in the Navarre area. Along with being a loving father he loved fishing, cooking, working out, and reading the Bible.
Bob was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Spenler; mother, Mary Askea; brothers, Vern and Tommy Spenler; and beloved wife, Kathy Spenler.
He is survived in death by his son, William; his daughters, Chrystal, Melissa, and Tori; his sister, Margaret; grandson, nieces and nephews.
There will be a casual Celebration of Life held 3:30pm Sunday, October 28, 2018 at the Black Skimmer Pavilion on Navarre Beach.
