Robert A. Cook, Tsgt. (USAF, ret.), 63, of Pensacola passed away on Friday, February 13, 2009. He was born in Yangzhou, China in a Japanese internment camp. Robert served 20 years in the US Air Force, retiring as a Tsgt. He was a mustang enthusiast and member of the Gulf Coast Regional Mustang club. He was currently employed as a Journeyman at Comfort Systems USA. Robert is survived by his wife, Betty of Pensacola; a son, Larry of Pensacola; daughter, Debbie of Pensacola; granddaughter, Haley Cook of Pensacola; brother, Rodley Kelley of Milton; brother-in-law, Bill Box of Miami; sisters-in-law, Solange Kelley of Milton, Donna Box of Miami and Dee Box of Pensacola. Visitation will be held from 12:30-1:30pm, Thursday, February 19, 2009 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel followed by graveside services at 2:00pm at Barrancas National Cemetery with Rev. Ken Griffin officiating. Full military honors will follow. The family would like to give a special Thank You to the wonderful staff in St. Catherines at Sacred Heart Hospital.
