After steadily declining health, Robert M. DeLisser died peacefully on August 3rd, 2018 in Pensacola, Florida. Bob was born in New Rochelle, New York on January 7th, 1933. After graduating from medical school, Bob spent his career in the U.S. Navy, serving in many parts of the world including with the U.S. Marine Corps in Vietnam. He retired as Chief of Surgery at the rank of Navy Captain. Bob's parents, Austin and Gertrude DeLisser, preceded him in death. He is survived by his brother; his nephew; his niece and four grandsons.  He will be greatly missed by family and friends. Bob was truly one of the genuinely good guys who rarely complained accepting life on its terms, had a wonderful sense of humor ("woof"), lived life to its fullest and had a heart of gold. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm, Thursday, October 04, 2018 at All Saints Anglican Church, 901 N. New Warrington Rd # A, Pensacola, FL 32506
