Robert Alan Henderson, 61, of Pensacola, FL, passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021.

Robert was born on July 16, 1959, in Pensacola, FL. For 35 years he worked as a captain of casino boats, oil supply ships, and his beloved family boat Herb's Baby. His heart belonged to the water, where a part of his spirit will surely reside. He could fix anything he could get his hands on, and his sense of humor could lighten the heaviest mood. He was hardworking, had a huge personality, and was unapologetically himself. One of his proudest accomplishments was his daughter, Miranda, whom he loved dearly. He passed peacefully at his home where he had lived for over 20 years.

He is preceded in death by his father, James Herbert "Herb" Henderson and brother John Randall "Randy" Henderson.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Miranda Henderson; mother, Geraldine Henderson; sister, Kimberly Cooper; brothers, James Henderson and Michael Henderson and his niece, nephews, aunts and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 2, 2021 from 10:00 am until the Funeral Mass begins at 11:00 am at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers will be: James Henderson, David Gonzales, Doug Bartee, Trenton Cunningham, Zachary Cooper, Cody Cooper and Michael Henderson.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Gary Cooper and Mitchell Henderson.
