Robert Francis Kucala, 71, of Pensacola, FL passed away Friday, August 12, 2011. Robert was born in St Cloud, MN on January 4, 1940. He retired honorably from the US Navy after 30 years (Jun 1957 " Jan 1987) achieving the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer (CTOCM). He is preceded in death by parents, John and Delphine Kucala and twin brother, Richard Kucala and sister, Teresa Kucala. Survivors include the mother of his children, Maureen T. Kucala of Pensacola; sons, Vincent (Becky) of Stafford, VA and Sean (Beata)of Tallahassee, FL; grandchildren, Christopher, Timothy, Kaitlin, Gabe and Noah; brother, David Kucala of St. Cloud, MN and sister, Bernadette Peters of Brainerd, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30am Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at St. Michaels Catholic Church with Fr. Peter McLaughlin celebrant. Burial will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery with full military honors. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
