Roberta "Bobbie" Marie Mead Bellanova, 86, of Pensacola, FL passed away Friday, December 4, 2009. Bobbie was a native of Brooklyn, NY and has resided in Pensacola since 1946. She was the Office Manager of the Executive Club for over 15 years. She was a member of St. Paul and Our Savior Catholic Churches since 1976. Bobbie was active in the Women's Society, St. Theresa Circle and Caring Hearts Weekly Adoration. She was also Past Queen of the Fiesta Frolickers. Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband of twenty-five years, William Martin Mead, Jr. and her second husband of twelve years, Michael Thomas Bellanova, Sr. She is survived by her 9 children, Michael Mead (Sandra) of Jacksonville, FL, Terry Mead (Vickie) of Gulf Breeze, FL, Nina Mead Cobia (Ted) of Gulf Breeze, FL and Margaret Mead Whibbs (Greg) of Pensacola, FL, Patricia Bellanova Ward (Chuck) of Fort Worth, TX, Michael "Chip" Bellanova, Jr. of Pensacola, FL, Robert Bellanova (Davie) of Pensacola, FL, Richard Bellanova (Vicki) of Pensacola, FL and Christopher Bellanova (Stephanie) of Allentown, NJ. She is also survived by her 21 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and 2 on the way. Visitation will be held 10-11am Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at St. Paul Catholic Church with Funeral Mass to begin at 11:00am. The family would like to thank Dr. Sunnenberg and his medical staff for the compassionate treatment they gave to Bobbie. They would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Nicholas Delgado and Connie. Also, they would like to thank the staff of Trinity Court at the Haven of Our Lady of Peace for their love and care and a special thank you to all her friends who provided her with many wonderful years of joy and companionship. In lieu of flowers, Bobbie wished donations to be made to the Cody Foundation, 1128 Tall Pine Trail, Gulf Breeze, FL 32561. The Cody Foundation provides medical support to boys with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. HARPER-MORRIS MEMORIAL CHAPEL is in charge of arrangements.
