Obituary

Robyn "Rob" Douglas Huffman, 73, of Chipley, FL passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026.

Rob was born on April 30, 1952, at Tooele General Hospital, in Tooele, UT. He graduated from Tooele High School and earned a BS in Occupational Education from Wayland Baptist University. Rob was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a spiritual man, a devout Catholic, and a proud American Patriot. He served his country honorably for over 26 years in the US Air Force. Rob also worked for 21 years with Motorola / Continental as a Product Quality Engineer. He was married to the love of his life, Desiree Huffman, for 35 years. He was a proud member of the American Legion and Knights of Columbus. Rob's hobbies and interests include amateur radio, carpentry, being a mechanic, and participating as a Eucharistic Minister and Lay Reader. He was a kind, patient man with a strong heart, a strong back, and a quiet stubborn streak. There was no task he was afraid to tackle, especially with Desiree at his side. He will be remembered for his warmth, his smile, his matter-of-fact sense of humor, and his sincerity. He will be remembered most of all for the joy he brought to all who loved and knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mayme Marie (Jesina) and Richard Darrell Huffman; as well as two brothers, Terry Huffman and Michael Huffman.

Survivors include his loving wife of 35 years, Desiree T. Huffman; four sons, Thomas Huffman, Tony Huffman (Sondra), Timothy Huffman, and Seth Huffman; two daughters, Tammy T. Leiker and Tammy R.
