August 22, 1935 – March 14, 2017
It is with great sadness that the family of Roger Enzor, a resident of Pensacola passed away after an extended illness on March 14, 2017 at the age of 81.
Roger is survived by the love of his life, Dee; a special sister-in-law, Jean Mayo and other nieces and nephews.
Roger was born in Crestview, FL to Dr. Olin Enzor and Leila Lois Enzor. He graduated from Sewanee Military Academy in 1953 and went on to attend the University of Florida. Roger became a successful Real Estate professional in the Pensacola area with his involvement with the Pensacola Association of Realtors on the local and state levels receiving several awards. Roger was also active in the legislative arenas and served as the National Association of Realtors Federal District Coordinator for Representative, Jeff Miller and the Florida Realtors key contact for Senator Don Gaetz. He was twice appointed and also served as the Chairman of the Florida Real Estate Commission. He was involved in several local civic organizations and was an active and dedicated member of Cokesbury Methodist Church at Summit.
In his spare time, Roger enjoyed hunting, fishing and especially clay shooting.
Visitation will be held at 10am Saturday, March 18, 2017 with Funeral services beginning at 11am at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Rev. Keith Johnson officiating. Graveside services will follow at 1:30pm at Ray's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, Bogia, FL.
Pallbearers will be Auby Smith, Chuck Michaels, John Rasmussen, Dennis Degroot, Grey Burge and Dan Gullahorn.
Roger's family offers special thanks to the physicians and staff at Sacred Heart Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Cokesbury United Methodist Church, 5725 N. 9th Ave., Pensacola, FL 32504.
